Got my hands on S3
Finally got my hands on S3 today it's bigger and very sexy in white. It does sound better them my S2 very smooth, clear and detailed mid range and better bass.
It was a friends phone, I am still waiting for blue version to be available I am not sure when WHF is planing to post detailed evaluation.

Too big for me. I prefer the HTC one x / S

It is strange that a a decade ago everyone wanted to have the smallest phone available and now everyone wants a size which is good for reading and gameplay

I don't think it's that strange. When people wanted the smallest phone, that was all it was...a phone. plus sms.
Now they are small computers, so getting one as big as is comfortable to use is preferable to many.
