Do you think the iPhone's price will come down? Is this going to squeeze the market share & profit margins of Apple & Samsung, & probably make things much worse for other manufacturers like Nokia, HTC & Sony?
Apple won't care about market share as long as it hits its own growth target. As long as they sell enough to keep the app developers in coffee and thick rimmed glasses things will carry on as it has. If Apple can't make their 30-40% they won't bother.
Quite the contrary, I think Android prices will go up once the market share grab is complete, they can't give phones away at break even for ever.
Apple would still shift huge amounts of iPhone 5's even if the Nexus 4 was free.

I reckon the price might come down by £30 or so but can't see it dropping any more.
