Does the Nexus 5 support high res audio files?

Hi all,

I upgraded from a Nexus 4 to a Nexus 5 on Friday and have stumbled upon conflicting views as to whether or not the Nexus 5 actually supports HRA and if so at what rates?

Does anyone know if it supports HRA and at what bit rate? Just thinking about possibly looking into it if it does although with just 32gb of storage I'm going to be very limited with storage space.

Samsung UE55F8000 TV (THX professional calibrated), Dali Zensor 5 7.1 (front presence configuration), Sony BDPS790, Yamaha RX-A2020, Marantz PM6004, Marantz CD6003, Virgin TiVo 1TB, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, WD TV Live, WD My Book World 1TB.

Not to mention the fact that they sound identical downsampled.

Hi Oldboy

I played 24bit FLAC on my Nexus 5 but couldn't hear any difference if I'm honest so I downsampled them to 16 bit and deleted the originals.  Therefore I can't tell you any more detail.
