My yamaha 765 has a built in mains cable so i presume i cannot upgrade the mains cable? So do i plug it in the mains conditioner or into a seperate solo socket. Also is it recomended all components [LCD,BLU-RAY,SKY-HD,PS3,AMPLIFIER] have an mains cable upgrade or do i just run them though my mains conditioner. IM SURE USE HAVE BEEN ASKED A ZILLION TIMES,

Hi Grifz

I too have similar prob/dilemma. My yam 863se amp has a fixed power wire which I wanted to upgrade. As of yet I have not touched it due to the warranty, but I did purchase a Tacima & it did help with the sound on my system. I also plugged everything else into it as well - plasma/skyhd/tiscali/ps3 & sub. Also shortened the length of the Tacima to about 1m & upgraded the plug to an MK silver coated Tough plug & used a silver coated fuse.

Can not say its made a huge difference to everything but the sound did improve from the amp overall .....
