A wooden rack
English

This isn't quiet what I'm looking for , but I think its the closest I can get to a wooden stand under 300 quid .

http://www.av4home.co.uk/jual-curve-jf204-wb-curved-walnut-av-stand-with-black-glass.html#prodTop

Does anyone know the build quality of this rack ? I need 3 shelves , 2 amps and a bluray disc player , no TT so it's just for looks , anyone know a better looking pc for 300 quid ?

I've hit every charty shop and 2nd hand shop I can find , and cant find a good looking rack , or even something I could butcher .

James

Will that shelf take the weight of your amps?

Maybe worth speaking to Stuart on www.stumpfurniture.co.uk. They can custom make to your requirements. They also use reclaimed wood, making it cheaper.

This is a great hifi rack. The style is quite unique and the wood finish is beautiful. the glass shelves will each take 20Kg i think

RE: A wooden rack

I think so Bigboss , they claim 20kgs and nithier amp is more than 10kgs , I checked out the stump link , I've been browsing the " my system thread " to look at different racks , think I've seen option 001 before <S> . I kinda like the "light" look of it compared to alot of other wooden racks

Phoenix164 , do you own one ?, reading the reviews some say the fixings are bad and it's a bitch to build , others seem to say its easy .

Thanks James
