Hello, which is the best one for value and usability please?

Logi Harmony One £85

Logi Harmony 555 £49

Logi Harmony 525 £41

Logi Harmony 1000 £148

Are the Philips Pronto's worth investigating?

cheers

Re: Which Universal remote?

It's your call depending on what would you prefer

Buttons  over touch screen ? 525/555 as opposed to One , Tablet style the 1000.   4 Hard Colour buttons ?  on the One they are on the Touchscreen. .

Rechargeable cradle (One)  or standalone ? ,  Do you need wireles extender ? only works on 890/1000/1100

As an ex Pronto 940 user I would stick  with the Logi range for ease of setup and  resonable flexibility and as a One user I can certainly recommend it.   Hope this helps with your dilema.

As a ex Pronto user would you rate this one?

Harmony one is pulling me over as i do have a few logitech devices, and I am very happy with their usability

Re: Which Universal remote?

Looks quite good but think  I would rate the One as a step up.  The mag reviewed the SRU9600 here and weren't too keen on  scroll wheel which I would guess would be the same for this model. Has hard colour buttons tho if soft on screen like the One is a problem.   Note I was wary when I saw the colour buttons were on screen for the One but  now don't care in fact probably better on touch screen.

Can also vouch for support as I had issue with selecting analogue inputs consistently on my Freesat Panny TV  and after a couple of fix attempts by e-mail they called me from Canada and made several changes while on the phone until it was working perfectly, then they even called again a few days later to make another change as he'd thought of a way to make it quicker.  10/10.

Re: Which Universal remote?

No probs mate , Well I have a "Watch Kids" activity on the One  with Disney, Nick CBBC etc. as favourites  for my son saves going via the Virgin Menus.   Any queries when you get it  just post,  I'm sure you will enjoy  and it is good to have all the other remotes in a cupboard.
