hey all

Ive finnally got around to setting up my new amp and speakers after moving house and need to know something.

Can the wire attached to speaker be bare and the end that goes into the amp have banana plugs ?

Or do both ends need to have the same ? probably a silly question  rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks all

Joe

I really don't want to this to sound patronising, but what exactly did you think the problem would be if only one end has plugs on.

Just wondering!

He's probably read here that different banana plugs can sound different. So by that logic, if you only had them on one end it may make a difference.

It's obviously complete ballcocks but I can understand why he asked.

RE: Speaker wire connection question

Leaving your speaker wire bare on both ends would be the best solution.
