speaker cables and interconects

Hi everyone
I am new to the world of home cinema and need some advice.I have recently bought the onkyo txnr609,marantz ud7006,monitor audio rx8 spdeaker package.I have no spdeakder cables and was wondering if the qed silver anniversary speaker cables with air locks would ok with my system as I can get them quite cheap.I want to use van den hull the name for stereo replay too.all advice would be appreciated.thanking you in advance.
