sennheisser parts are expensive

my sennys 650s are needing new earpads so i thought buy
some replacements boy was i suprised £49 for earpads a little bit of foam
and velour, then i went on to buy a replacement headphone cable also for the 650s another £26 notes a total £75
for a couple of little parts a total rip off imo, so whats your horror story when trying to buy spare parts for your hi fi.
