Qed XT Evolution Speaker Cable

There seem to be quite a few places selling this off for between £3 and £4 a metre.  Some old reviews said it was a good buy, better than Silver Anniversary XT, when it was selling for around double that.

Is this a bargain, and a better option than XT, or was it never up to much?
