Permanent under floor TV aerial connection?

I am still in the process of renovating my 100 yr old tenement flat, on to the kitchen now.  My normal TV aerial cable (RG6) comes in through my kitchen wall (by one meter) and I have ran another RG6 cable into the media cupboard in the hall.  I have to permanently connect these two cables before the floor boards go back down.  Does anyone have any special techniques to joining these two cables?

Cheers,

Ross

Cheers for your suggestion Dave.  I suppose if i solder each F connection, then join connect them to the threaded coupler, that might give the best connection possible?

Cheers.
