Many thanks for your good wishes
really appreciate it
I am trying very hard to learn very fast and not to make to many expensive mistakes
all the best Steve
To summarise, if you have a clue about electronics you will know that the way you connect the mains can have no effect on performance. It just doesn't work like that.
Hi Trev C
Not sure if your reply was for me or the wider viewing membership?
Speaking for myself I was only interested in the neatness idea of the Hydra not so much the mains cleaning claims,if that`s what they were,I make no claims as to what beyond being a 4 in 1 plug can do or not do....
All the Best Steve
As you outside the UK just pop down to your local DIY or Electrical store and pick a standard one up from there.
Only downsides are if the mains leads are not detachable from the equipment you would have to disconnect them if you wanted to change anything, also as there is normally only 1 fuse in them if this blows all 4 items will stop working.
In most cases the shear neatness outweighs the small chance of the above occurring.
Hope this helps
A bit of research will reveal that the 'Hydra' plug is in fact a Micromark multi-plug which can be purchased online for a tenner.
Round Things > Boxes > Wires > Boxes > Walls/Ceiling/Acoustic Stuff > Ears > Brain
I am now totally convinced that the HYDRA type plug is a non starter, and more trouble than it`s worth, will be sticking to normal cable and plugs. Many thanks for all your input & feedback
Best wishes Steve
