hi iceman,i have furutec fuses in my system,i started with the cd player and found that they did make quite a good improvement to the sound,then did the power amp and so on,it was a impovement all round,but the cd player was the biggest in my system.i'm right up there with i/c power chords do make huge impact on the system.you can check out my system on the what hifi form ,hope that helps david

Thanks Chebby..I do appreciate that..just replaced basic fuses to AMR gold 13a(power chords) and yes they make difference but not massive..I do believe(conductors,from silver to gold etc) can make difference!

No, fuses don't affect sound quality. Nor do mains leads, come to that. Of course you are free to imagine they do.

Oh yes they do make a difference! No more debate from me though. Try some Russ andrews fuses, quite good

Seriously, fuses are a critical safety component. Don't mess with them.
