Harmony One with Virgin Tivo Box.
I have been trying to re-program my Harmony One to enable me to use it with the Tivo Box,
but the Logitech software does not seem to recognise the Tivo box, and while the Harmony will operate the Tivo using the settings I had for my old Samsung V+hd box you do lose some functionality, and to cut a long story short during my contact both verbal and by e-mail with Logitech they have asked me to obtain the "HEX CODES" for the Tivo Box but it is not something I am familiar with. Can anyone enlighten me as to what "HEX CODES" are please.

I would go down the "learning" route. It's very easy with the Harmony.
I tried the "Learning" route and still no joy, as when it was programed the Harmony was issuing double instructions on certain commands , like when i pressed channel up it would jump 2 channels and when i pressed number 1 it would show up as number 11.
But thanks to the mag it is all sorted.
In the review of the Tivo Box in the latest edition it reveals that the Tivo is actually a Cisco box, so when i entered the details on the website the Logitech software recognised the device straight away so everything is now working fine.

Data steam of Hexadecimal code for a function ie. power off/On FFFFF 00000 0CB00 Etc. , you would have to ask Virgin for them. Can you not "learn" the missing functions from the Tivo remote they gave you?
