Clearer audio mains cables

Hello all,

Another one from me. Im considering getting some power cables for my kit for two reasons, one to improve performance (i dont want to start a does it or does it thread by the way) and to have custom lengths of cables due the annoying mess that is the back of my hi fi rack. What i was wondering is whether its worth the uplift from the copper line alpha to the copper line? I was considering the higher grade cable for my cdp and amp only, the rest of my kit i am thinking of using just the Alpha.
