hi thinking of purchasing this cable has anyone got this cable and can give me there thoughts on this cable i.e performance picture quality and is it fine for 3D thanks in advance
Can't comment on performance (though WHF's review is fairly glowing - click). However, it will certainly be 3D compatible.
This supershield is rated high speed with ethernet and should be certified to 8m, however if you require any long than this I would suggest their active version.

A good alternative to the Chord SuperShield would be the AudioQuest Forest which is available in an 8 metre length, and is a lot more flexible than the Chord and would also be 3d ready.
Agree with Tiggs, the AudioQuest Forest HDMI is a very good cable, well made and offers good value for money. Personal choice would be AudioQuest over the Chord.
The other advantages of the AudioQuest over the Chord for me are the fact the AudioQuest is a thinner cable than the Chord SuperShield, and an 8 metre version will be a lot less than an 8 metre Chord Active.
