Any idea why my 5 year old QED HDMI-P cable (5M) works with 3D? Is there room for improvement?

My old QED HDMI-P cable allows 3D BD's via my PS3. If i was to upgrade to a 'High Speed' cable would i see improvements in picture, crosstalk, motion etc? Or is it just 'works/ does not work'? Thanks, Cookie Monster

HDMI cables usually exceed specifications & older versions are likely to pass 3D as well.
