I've just noticed that it's disappeared as well, but if you click on the homepage it comes back & you can actually see the news.
It was there, then it wasn't, then it was........It's like the Bear Enclosure of a Zoo, where they hide the food to make life more interesting for the inhabitants. 
It depends what page you are on whether you see it or not.
I'll alert our Digital Media Team to the problems – suspect a bit of teething trouble post redesign launch, or maybe some server shenanigans

Ah, website 'burn-in' ...
I think it's probably to do with the ads being served at the top of the page, as I noticed a few had gone on the blink earlier and that may have affected the tabs. No-one in the office today, so I'll get internet ops on the case tomorrow. Seems OK on my browser (Firefox) at the mo.
Interesting... I'm having the same problem with vanishing navbar tabs – they were all there when I went to the Forum landing page, but some vanished when I clicked through to 'Active Topics', and now they're back again at the top of the page where I'm typing this.
Same ad being served on both landing page and 'Active Topics', and I'm using Aurora 19.0a2
