give the impression that all ordinary woman ever do is sit in soft focus apartments in Tuscany admiring the smoothness of their own limbs (whilst eating desserts made from bacteria).
Can you let me know what advert this is so I can look out for it?

My Panasonic DMR-XS350 has a manual skip button which does one minute per press.
Four pushes of the button does the trick for 90 odd % of programmes.
It won't automatically skip past the ads, but I have mine set to 1 minute forward and 15 seconds back, when the ads appear I press fwd 3, 4 or 5 times (or more if they insist on putting loads of ads on) if I've gone too far I pop it backwards 15 secs at a time to get as close as possible to the start of the prog. I'm getting quite good at skipping ads now, although I do occasionally try to skip ads in live broadcasts
