I just got home and it's all differently laid out.

Looks weird and stuff in all different places.

The bottom section of the pages, from "Friends of What Hi-Fi..." onwards looks a bit odd (too much space, for too few words...)

'Log in' is over the top of 'Forum' section, so it's a bit tricky to read and get back to main menu.

They say that most of us don't like change but if it all works better - I for one will approve.

It is obviously in beta form at mo.

Anyone from WHF care to spill beans ???

The site is back online, but it will take another hour or two for our servers to update fully, so you'll see some oddities for a while yet.

From Mr Clough's twitter, patience dear readers...

I just posted with no problems - a first and it turns our text into something easier to read.

I like beauty, eh

Hi folks, it's taking a while for our servers to update across the entire site but it's getting there! You may need to clear your cache and refresh your browser from time to time as the site continues updating. We'll be making further tweaks over the next few days, but overall we think it's a big improvement and hope you like it.

RE: What's happened to the site?

not sure I'm keen on the new font either.  I like a nice verdana 10 point...

The font is quite small in some places (when posting in the "comment" box, log-in page) and a bit loony-large elsewhere!

One thing that still irks - in the "Last Post" column on the "forums" page, it would be lovely to see more details of the latest thread, rather than the first word "Query: what is the best speakers for a Pioneer 86" is rendered as "Query..." which doesn't really pull a reader in....

Looks nice and clean, though I guess it will take few days to get used to it.
