Site Videos in the US - but I'm not in the US!
Does What HiFi restrict watching its video content to the UK (like the BBC) only?
The reason why I ask is I can never get any vidoes to play while I'm at work (near Cambridge) but I know that our Internet connection is routed via our WAN to our companies HQ in the US and therefore we are identified with an US IP address.
There's no reason from our perspective why you shouldn't be able to watch the videos outside the UK - we certainly don't block them. As Andrew suggests, maybe it's something to do with your company firewall.
I have the same problem trying to access Spotify from work. Guess I should be working though? ![]()
They block Facebook at work for us, unless we get special permission from the boss to be given access.

A lot of companies will block streaming services like Spotify, iPlayer, YouTube etc. because they take up a lot of bandwidth - imagine if you have several hundred employees trying to watch last night's Eastenders at lunchtime - access to the internet would grind to a halt!
In addition to streaming services , Social networking ,E-Bay , Amazon/Play etc..SHOULD also all be blocked as a matter of standard in the majority of workplaces as it serves no purpose to the employer .. Afraid WHF should also be in this catagory. Never ceases to amaze me how many public services allow virtually unrestricted access..
Oh and how many would try to watch Eastenders outwith lunch!!
works OK out here in Spain

Not that I'm aware of, no, though it could be that your company blocks content from certain locations, and our videos are hosted offshore somewhere.
I am sure ether Dom or JD will be along to clarify in due course...
