Selling Kit on site

We plan to have a buying/selling option on the site later this year - but still both technical and admin issues to deal with before that goes live. We'll keep you updated....

Often wondered why there are no "Class. Ads", either paid for in the mag or free (!) online.

Is this purely an admin issue (whatever they may be), or are there legal technicalities as well?

Realistically very few people would pay for it in a monthly magazine when you can put them on forums, in other mags for free and on fleabay for very little.

Hate flea bay and wasn't a suggestion for paid mag ads (might have been before the net), but would be a great addition for the site, though.

Personally I think fleabay is great. I recently sold my old Amp and speakers on there for prices I was more than happy with. I listed I was willing to ship overseas and put very high P&P prices for overseas delivery.

For the speakers some French gentleman decided he had nothing better to do but email asking why my P&P costs were so high then would I be willing to take the speakers apart and just send him the tweeters if he was the winning bidder. In the end he didn't even bid once ( C'est la vie ). Ultimately the winning bidder was from the UK.

For the Amp it ended up being a straight fight between an Austrian and Italian bidder. The Italian bidder won with the winning bid being over double the highest UK bid.
