Glad the online/offline 'blob' became smaller. Can't make it red/green, no?

It's green or not green.  The lights are on (etc)...

RE: About the new site

If that's the case, it's a 'strange blob indeed' here at WHFSV forums.

Can you say buggy? Not quite ready for prime time. 1000 bugs to go I'd say. No biggee. I'm sure you'll get it sorted before Christmas. Smile

Flag as offensive is a bit of a poor name for the Report function.

what should we do about duplicate posts (which there seem to be a lot of happening on the new site) what about SPAM? I dont find either "offensive" but would like to report them........ Wink

I think you're splitting semantic hairs now.

RE: About the new site

I'm having fun with the online/offline spot...

The hover function works (listing on or off line) - which is good, but the colour appears resolutely grey.  Except on my iPad, where it does turn green for online users. Hmmm.

I checked Opera, IE & SeaMonkey (Mozilla) and they keep the spot grey.

Oh, hang on.  They are different spots: user_offline.png & user_online.png.  One is pale grey, the other dark grey.  Odd that on the iPad it's green...

That's interesting.  If you right-click on the green spot, and then look at its properties, what does it say its source is?

When I do it on the "dark-grey" spot it shows as: http://cdn.whathifi.com/sites/whathifi.com/modules/whathifi_advanced_for...

My boat is not floated, I promise you Innocent

However, I only thought I'd highlight this minor issue with the spot...
