For some reason I am now not able to reply to posts on my iPad.

It seems that selecting the message box causes a greyed out line to flash and do nothing more.

Is this punishment for buying the coveted iPad? Wink

It's an iPad, it doesn't have an alternative browser...

The new site forum does however work on the iPad so all is not lost.

The same problem, sadly, also exists on the iPhone. I'm assured that when we move to our new web platform, all will be fixed, won't it Mr Duncan Big Smile

I found on the iPhone that switching from Safari to Opera Mini helped a bit...

Ah yes, just tried that and it worked a treat (posted from my iPhone).

Trade the iPad in on a MacBook. You won't regret it.

No I won't be trading in my iPad as I already own a shiny new Aluminium Macbook Pro. My iPad is a toy. Wink

Yup - download Opera Mini, ask me to set your forum settings to use the plain text editor, or wait for the new forum software (an ETA for which I've learned not to predict...)

Not all - the new text editor doesn't work with the iPhone, but you can switch to plain text editor on the fly (so you can use rich text on a normal pooter and then just use plain text on the iPhone). We want to try another rich text editor, but it didn't make the 'showstoppers' list. It'll be one of the post go-live fixes...
