My profile says that I've been a member for 4 years 46 weeks! As far as I can remember, I've been a member since 2009, not 2006. Did I really become a member that long ago?

You're right - probably not. The way the old system worked, you had a record for every site that you were registered with, and it looks like I've picked up the earliest of those dates (you were registered for three), rather than specifically thw WHF one (which looks more like March 2009).
We'll get to it eventually 
Actually i think i recall seeing one guy recently, which said he joined in 2003 
I can't seem to use that new big smile with the teeth any more 
any chance knowing how i can get to use it again?

If you think not, then probably not – there is some glitchery in the dates of membership on the site at the moment, but it's not high up the 'problems to solve' list.
