Hi,

Hopefully not a dumb question, but why isn't there a search option on the forums? This would be a great help when trying to find discussion on a paritcular piece of kit not to mention reducing the number of duplicated subjects. To show my point, I was trying to find posts relating to the Q-Acoustics QAV system, I've got issues placing L and R speakers and the sound bar option seemed to be a great solution, but will it excite me in a room that's 4.5m x 4m (I like big rumbling base for Star Wars!!!). Is the Yamaha 1100 better...

Forgive me if I've missed it and thanks if someone from your fab WHF team will answer my question even though in the wrong placeDevil

It's something we are pushing our digital media people to reinstate - it used to be here, but it got lost in the last site upgrade. It should be back soon

Meantime you can search the forums using the search box on the home page of the site - not ideal, I know, but it does the job

Hi Robster,

Yup, you're not the first person to notice that the Search box has disappeared from the Forums. As Andrew says, we're working on re-instating it as soon as possible and only last week Clare and I had meeting with our digital media team to make it so. In fact, Clare put it rather more bluntly than that, but modesty prevents me from repeating what she actually said! Tongue Tied

I noticed if you click on the "posts" link under anyone's name you get a search box.

Well spotted Jim, another way round the current problem. But we'll still be re-instating a proper search box on the main Forum pages as well.
