File attachment problems

Hi folks, could anyone shed light on why it is i can not attach files when posting and/ or how to remedy? Cheers

Hi nads, I can't add pics as it says I dont have the correct permission. Any ideas?

Presumably you're clicking on the Options tab, then clicking on 'File atachments, Add/update'? That's not what you need to do to insert images in a thread.
Your image needs to be uploaded into a photo hosting site (like flickr or photobucket), and then you need to insert a link to that image by clicking on the 'image' icon in the toolbar (if you're using the rich text editor) or (if you;re not using the rich text editor) by typing
<img src="URL to image" width="400"/>

it is not possible to "attach" files to posts.
what are you really trying to do?
link to some thing? link to an image or.....?
