It's doing all our heads in. Its removal is imminent, to be followed swiftly by punitive measures against the perpetrators.

Apologies, someone in our ads dept (no names!) has loaded the wrong ads onto the site. We're working frantically to fix it. Please bear with us.

Talk about a bizarre ad. You couldn't even close it with an "x". There wasn't one.

Really annoying but I am running Explorer 8 and it if I press the Compatibility View Button  it seems to get rid of the Advert have to re do it every new page but at least you can get to links, If you have it, may be worth a try until the issue is fixed.

No close box as it was never meant to be a pop-up/drop-down.

Should have been a static banner, but looks like someone loaded vertical ads that should be on side of page into the top banner horizontal slot!

We run the site off four separate servers. It may take a while for each of them to clear, so please bear with us.
