hmmm .....interesting ....... ive just tried the opera web browser and i'm able to post here ... for some reason i cant type in the comment box anything in internet explorer v 8

and thats my main browser of choice .. anyone else had this problem ?

Disable rich text? I have to do that even on a PC, not just my iPad...

OK, apologies - has taken me a while to get round to this.  This is IE7 on my own laptop and it appears to work fine.  I now have to try to upgrade to another version of IE to even test IE8 behaviour...

Posted with my lad's netbook via Google Chrome , as per my e-mail to you last night JD , unable to post on main systems running IE8 & IE9.. Knew you preffered  S. Jobs but this is ridiculous!!

i will add , i'm using windows 7 home premium 64 bit  ... and having opened up 2 browers side by side it does seem doing "disable rich text" does indeed allow me to write in the comment box with ie 8
