It pays for this website. No mag sales, no website.

Re: Can someone remind me....

Probably controversial......but don't you ultimately need the website to pay for the website?

You'd hope, wouldn't you? Probably why our ad people are even as we speak busy schmoozing spiky-haired advertising agency types at the launch party tonight

Nnnnnoooooooooo! Not ads (although AdAware comes in useful for an advert laden site).

Surely the way to go would be magazine subscribers only area?

Been discussed much around these parts, but I think the genie is out of the bottle now - welcome to the brave new world.

I think that great big chunk of real estate nicked by advertising at the top is an indication of intent, unfortunately.

It's got to be paid for somehow!

But seriously I meant the genie was out of the bottle more in terms of all the reviews being available for free, rather than in a subscribers-only area.

Although we will be running exclusive reviews online, there will still be plenty of new reviews in the magazine each month which will appear in print before they're put up on the website, so if you want to keep bang up to date with all things hi-fi and home cinema the mag will still have plenty to offer! ÿ

SHH!!! I cant sunscribe coz i only have some stupid lil post box on the wall outside, so the postie wouldnt be able to get it in.

i do, however, sprint to my local Smiths to get it - i even check a day early just in case, after a friend got it early by chance and it made me furious that sucha thing can happen! GRRR!!!

Anyway, "sprint" i say! mowing down old folk, massacre-ing small children and cudgelling(?) young mums with massive prams (ooh, where's my daily mail?) as i do so.

I've even been known to risk an asbo, or worse, in an altercation to get the last copy.

Subscribers only stuff then - no. please god no.

Phew.
