Ooh killer amps!
If they are killers, do they come with a 'PG' certificate?
Leema Pulse MKII-S; Naim CD5i MKII; Denon TU-260L MKII; MA RS6 speakers; Pro-ject Xpression 1; loads of different cables...
Formerly known as plastic penguin
No, they just stop playing after five songs...
No signature worth mentioning...
Nope just stars! There is a nice Cyrus 8a and a Heed Obeliski Si if that rocks your boat!
Can't they find a different description to killer. Seems the default adjective and meaningless.
The meaning seems pretty clear, and it's a shade more exciting than "best", which, if you're allergic to poetic license, is about all you'll be left with.
I have to admit it is getting used a lot in the magazines these days, perhaps an alternative suggestion is in order from some one?
How about "Amps that are slightly better than the other amps on the market"?
Once upon a time it was only Stuff magazine that used the term 'killer' a lot, now it's spreading like the plague!
Nah, I'm not with the terms of the youth today, and I suppose wicked, brill and fantastic are too obvious. I will have a power walk and think about it...
Or "this amp is well phat!"
Just had to look that up. Not bad!
I got it guys 'sick' amps! Jackpot???
