Did we say April? I think it's now June, as we realise just how much we have to do before we can go live.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for quick response, I remember Clare mentioned in one of the discussion thread it was April. but if it is extended to June then I have to wait for another 3 monthsCrying

Re: New What Hi*Fi website launch on target?

I think April was the target date at one stage, some time back. But we're still getting to grips with having around 1000 reviews edited, illustrated and uploaded, not to mention building all the functionality to be available around them.

It's turning out to be a Herculean task, not least because it also involves rebuilding the database driving the Buying Guide in the print magazine.

And the spectre of Terminal 5 looms over us if we don't get it right - I heard on Friday of a colleague taking a short flight back from Berlin who arrived a day late and without her luggage!

On the plus side,  it's early June.Big Smile

What started  off as a relatively simple refresh and reviews upload has now also become a total redesign with lots more helpful features. Things aren't far off now, but - as Andrew mentioned - we've built in lots of time  for testing!

If you subscribe to our weekly newsletter, which goes out on Wednesdays,  we'll be trailing some sneak previews there soon....
