Floor stander group test £1k to £2.5k
Hi,
I was wondering when we might see a floorstander test, there seems to be a lot of new models in the price range and some old stagers that are that are still pretty strong, I'm thinking:
ATC SCM40
B&W CM8
B&W CM9
DYNAUDIO EXCITE X32
DYNAUDIO FOCUS 220
KEF XQ30/40
NEAT ACOUSTICS MOTIVE 1& 2
PMC GB1i
PROAC RESPONSE D18
PROAC STUDIO 140 MK2
SPENDOR A5/A6
I'd really like to see who comes out on top, although I recognise that this is a large price range and variation.
I think there needs to be a couple of big show downs, I know we've just had the awards, but I'd like to see some defintitive recommendations as the result of a direct side by side test.
Add the KEF Q900 to that list as well.....anyone from WH think there's a chance of anything like this happening?

Completly agree.Then the next month stand mounts in the same price bracket and then a full page split, like the eb2 vs atc a month or two back,for an ultimate showdown.Then regardless of outcome I would defo renew my subscription
