I noticed that the Feb issue was in the shops at the weekend, but I have still not recieved my subscriber copy. Has there been any general problem with getting the issue out to subscibers or am I an isolated case.

Re: Feb issue

Mine arrived this morning. We had very little post end of last week and none on saturday. Quite a lot came through our letter box this morning so I imagine it`s a royal mail issue.

Re: Feb issue

Had a word with our subscription dept and the problem is down to the Royal Mail, so unfortunately beyond our control. The subs copies have gone out, so apologies if yours was late.

No problem, as long as it arrives at some point. I've got to read "Hamlet" for work, so it will be a couple of days beore I can enjoy the mag anyway.

Re: Feb issue

I have not received mine yet. If the mag was in the shops at weekend and subscribers get there copy a few days earlyer i make that a week or so overdue. There isnt a postal problem where i live .  If it is a postal problem ? its the only thing royal mail seem to be consistant at lately

This is the latest from our subscriptions people:

Subscriber Service Update

UK subscribers
We'd like to apologise for any delays to the delivery of your subscription copies over the last few weeks - Royal Mail have informed us that they are still experiencing problems throughout the network as they attempt to clear the significant backlog of mail from the combination of poor weather and high volumes of post prior to Christmas.

Royal Mail have assured us they are doing their utmost to clear the backlog; you can find the most recent service update for your region on their website.

As a result of the continued delays, our customer service team are experiencing a far higher volume of calls and emails than usual - thank you for your patience, please be assured that we will respond to all queries as soon as possible.

Overseas subscribers
DHL have advised that copies to the US are taking an average day or two longer to be delivered due to the increased security procedures put in place by the Department of Homeland Security in November, and that poor weather in the US and flooding in Australia is impacting on deliveries, but other international deliveries are operating normally.

Arrived today. Just got to get through a few more poisonings and sword fights and then I can spend a few hours deciding which new TVs I can't afford this year.Smile

Re: Feb issue

The last issue of Radio Times I had on my subscription was the Christmas/New Year double issue: I think I should have had at least two more since then...

Re: Feb issue

I missed the Xmas/New Year edition of New Scientist but that's because I didn't renew my subscription early enough! Still annoyed though!
