Digital edition font quality

Just tried the digital edition for the third time but disappointed agan with the quality of the font.
At 100% it is too small to read (even with good eye sight) and if zoomed in becomes fuzzy, further zooming in makes it pixelated.
Why can't it be made sharp at all reasonable sizes?
May not bother again unless it is fixed.
Anybody else had the same experience?
(I am using ipad 3)
Edit: e.g. This web site's font is sharp at any zoom view.
