I think that the magazine / website is very informative and interesting. However I see a lot of questions regarding cables being asked all the time. Now the magazine constantly says use "these cables with this system" and so on, and there is all those charts at the back of the magazine. But would you ever consider dong a full article within the magazine about cables and everything to do with them, rather than "search the forums".

I think Clare's off this week, but I'll pass the idea on to Mr Editor Melville when he's recovered from Glastonbury.

Hi,

Is he recovering from Glastonbury or heading straight to T In The Park at Balado?

Cheers,

Cofnchtr.

The forum is there for a reason. The mag, even though it's a good one, can't give a view so broad that it covers every eventuality or every set-up. Whereas forum-ees have a wide variation of kit and more likely to relate to your own personal circumstances, as against a GUIDE that WHFI usually state.

I agree. However I found that when a subject was given some "space" within the magazine, I was able to make a more informed decision. No article gave me all of the answers that I was looking for, but they enabled me to do a more informed search and to understand more answers. When I got my Panasonic 37" plasma, I was able to ask better questions, and know when I was being "lied" to. I got this knowledge firstly from the magazine, and secondly from the forums.
