RE: About the mag

Credit card over phone is easy.i've got one with tens of thousands of pounds limit and that is for those special occasions, like a new Rolex because it's Friday for example.
The other one has a fairly small limit so if i do get burnt ordering globally over the phone it's not the end of the world.I think they call it 'risk and reward'.
And before i get flamed,i was joking about the Rolex on Fridays thing Wink

Brian,

Did you find anyone that would ship to NZ?

Apparently despite the speakers I want costing an extra 75% locally I have to wait between 3 and 6 months to get them in my preferred colour

HiFi Heroes Smile Analogue Seduction Smile Cable shoppe Smile Clearer Audio Smile There are others out there, for example B&H Photo in the US has a lightning quick delivery service!Only 120V on electrical though but for an example 'top end' projector screens are a fraction of the NZ cost. Make sure the UK retailers deduct the VAT at checkout, that 20% off pretty much pays for shipping. Don't bother with Peter Tyson,Richer Sounds and quite a few others i could name.Tell them you're offshore and they just roll their eyes and tend to fart in your general direction Angry Funny though,it's 18 months since i wrote this thread and i've managed to buy more than a dozen motor vehicles from UK car dealers.Even a year ago it was hard work but now they are ringing and emailing me to get the business. Maybe the AV retailers will get the idea and do the same...eventually. (BTW,forget the 'we cant sell out of area' B***S***! Audi,Porsche,MB,and BMW ALL do it as far as export is concerned so why cant the big 4 or 5 AV manufacturers/distributors...)
