No, it's a worse one.

Totally agree. The new format is awful. Pages take forever to load and can't find anything. Used to check out the site several times a day. Now i might take several days to work out the site.
Roksan Caspian M2 CD --> Atlas Hyper Integra --> Roksan Caspian M2 Integrated Amp --> Atlas Hyper 2.0 --> Monitor Audio Silver RX6
Ignoring the new styling of the forum (which I don't like), the coding of the new site does appear to be very amateurish. Page loads and style sheet handling are much slower than before, and the whole page rendering process flickers and flashes as advertising content is loaded.
Equally poor on an iPad as well.
I am running current versions of IE and iOS.
I guess this is what counts as progress.....

Hi. Spoke to Andy Clough yesterday and he said that this site is aimed at the phone and iPad people. This site is a step backwards as, according to the above quote it is equally poor on iPad. Oh dear!!. Another 'shot in the foot' for the What HiFi crew. This site is now on a par with their reviews in my opinion. As I'm typing this I am really hating this site more and more. Don't think I'm gonna post here anymore due to the fact that this seems to be run by amateurs. God this site annoys me!!!!.
Is it possible to have the old version avalible in parallel with the new version?
Wow. And someone actually gave this amateur hour version of a website the ok to go live? Additionally, even though I reset my password a few weeks ago it has reverted to my old password.
Also getting annoying verification code requests constantly.
I like the phone and tablet version. Very fresh. The main site is less successful but that's mainly down to the colour. I like the interface but the main desktop site could be a little tidier. Bear in mind users don't like change, fix the layout on the main site and job done.
Response times were fine I found. No issues.

I'm using Firefox paddyb and it's working fine. Obviously we've had to put a lot of redirects in place for pages from the old site, it may take a while for all those to work through. Can you give me a couple of examples of where you got 'page not found' and we'll take a look.

Using iPhone and it is carp. Can't access forums on safari on my Mac. The rest still looks half baked on my computer.
Could not get in at all, keep saying site not found on chrome and safari, only got in here via a saved favourite link. Yes I agree its terrible. If revamping why not get rid of the subject header?
i think its ok,the biggest miss is the old homepage where you could see the latest reviews, news, and posts.plus im getting word verification.
Haha think I need sunglasses.
The fonts are too big, people the other side of my office can read whats on my screen. I have used the zoom out feature of my browser (FireFox) to make everything smaller.

Arrrrghh! You have to do a Captcha word verification on every post. Yuk
Its not unknown for a company to make a complete horlicks of a website revamp. The Waitrose Online update was an unmitigated disaster a couple of years ago, and M&S have just blamed an 8% drop in their like for like sale on 'teething troubles' with their new website - which has come in for a great deal of criticism.
I have to admit I don't undertstand the need for change - is a website a fashion item?
