RE: Beckham's mug.

I've seen the same advert in the same irritating manner on AV Forums as well. So WHF isn't the only one.

So irritating!  Is there no way of getting rid of a advert with Beckham?  Every thread he pops up.

RE: Beckham's mug.

This is beyond a joke!  It was bad enough when when it opened up on the News pages which is the first area of the site I visit.  Only to discover it's on the forum pages too; on every single ruddy page!!!  AND if you want to close it, as soon as the curser runs over the ad to reach the X the sound kicks in. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRH.

Very OTT, please please please get rid of it ASAP. |( |( |( |( |(

This stupid advert has even come up twice when I was on the thread about the death of Big Chris, we don't need it. :wall:

You all make me feel very lucky that I have yet to see the advert.

I presume that it gets blocked because of my French ISP address. I'm not going to complain to them. Smile

RE: Beckham's mug.

just been invaded by David too.

In order to "x" the advert, I have to roll over it, so it starts the audio feed.  I work in an open plan office, so not ideal.  I'm not sure what he's selling, as I shut it down before he got to that bit, but if I find out - I won't buy it.

RE: Beckham's mug.

Well that's settled - no Sky telly for me. Thanks.

PS - I got sidetracked by an annoying survey pop-up trying to reply to this thread!

"It is important to me that I own the latest TV technology".

Hardly - it's important to me that my children are healthy, my mortgage is paid and my job is secure.  A telly's technology is nice, but it will never be "important".  What sort of moron classifies a telly's techy wizardry as "important"?!
