Beckham's mug.
English

So irritating! Is there no way of getting rid of a advert with Beckham? Every thread he pops up.

If you don't roll your cursor over the ad, the video will be muted. Just checking where exactly on Forums the ad is appearing - I'm only seeing it so far on the Active Topics landing page.

Yes, that's where I see it, and as that's where I spend the majority of my time here it's getting pretty annoying. Is it really necessary?

It's absolutely horrific. The sound is a minor additional problem, it's the difficulty in navigating which is worst. It has also cropped up on this thread for me (AND the active topics page which I clicked through to this thread from), so it is not confined just to active topics. Please get rid / make smaller.

I'm seeking clarification from our advertising department regarding where/when/how often the ad is booked to appear.

I just saw it scrolling down this thread.  It is indeed annoying.

Agree it's pretty irritating, especially as it expands the screen just as you select an item.

Also, I wouldn't want to be using mobile data on the Website either.

I know you need adds to keep the site free (and they have never before bothered me) but It's very annoying that David keeps popping up every time I open a new forum thread. Must he pop up as I type this?

Sony 808 ES Amplifer, PSB imagine B bookshelf speakers, Pro-ject debut carbon turntable, Audiolab 8200 CD player, Pioneer N-50 streamer, Revox B77 1/2 reel to reel player, Sennheiser Momentun headphones and some Atlas cables.

RE: Beckham's mug.

Jst out of curiosity, how do you get this ad?

Haven't had it on my iPad Mini (used for an hour yesterday late morning) and  I can't 'force' the ad on my desktop system (Win 7 Pro, Firefox 24.6.0 ESR).

Is there a sure fire - guaranteed to get annoying ad - way of testing this?

(Just lke The_Lhc I always use 'active topics'.)

Maybe it's gone now, but I should have had it yesterday on the iPad Mini at least.
