We need your user reviews!

One of the extra features we've added to the new site is the option for you to write your own reviews of the kit you have. So if you've got an item of hi-fi or home cinema gear you'd like to wax lyrical about, this is your chance! And we'll be awarding special badges to our Top Contributors, as well as selecting the best writers to become Approved User Reviewers. Further instructions on how to submit a review are included in our news story.

Just one thing: if the product you want to write about isn't yet in our database, you won't be able to submit a review. We are working hard with all the manufacturers to get the database up to date as quickly as possible, but we do rely on them to give us the relevant info to do so. Here are some examples of recent user reviews on the new site:

I think this is a great idea,

I think this is a great idea, but sadly I don't think I'll ever be able to contribute very much unless you have a 'retro' or'classic' section lol. Just about the only HiFi I own from this century is my EB2 speakers and RS180 headphones Biggrin

Might help if the site was

Might help if the site was easier to use. I can't be bothered to wait for the page load times, the homepage is such a mess, as are most pages, that I don't visit them anymore. The forum layout is a bit better though but still have to wait 10+ second to see active topics - sorry to sound negative but one of my fave corners of the internet lays in ruins

Why not find a few other threads to post this message on as well? Just so everyone knows how little you use the site any more Smile

Audeze LCD-3 not in database

These were reviewed in February 2014, yet it's still not possible to add a user review!

Are you still waiting for Audeze to give you information?   It's all there on their website.

Hi Andy,

Hi Andy,

I just tried to leave a review for the CM8's however the site says that the product is not in the database, yet it has a WHF review.

Thanks

Our product database is now handled by an external company, Etilize, who also supply the likes of Amazon. If the specs for a specific product are not in their database, they may not appear on the site (as is the case with the CM8s) - regardless of whether or not we have reviewed it.

Etilize is working with all the manufacturers to get the database up-to-date as quickly as possible, but the system does depend on Etilize being given the correct Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPNs) from the companies concerned. I'll add this one to the list.

Strange, I just went into the WDTV Live review, clicked on those links and the review form popped up fine. Once you click the 'be the first to review..." link give it a few seconds to allow the user review form to load. What device were you viewing the site on? Might be an issue on iPhone/iPad.
