Eight characters, eight Vantage Points, one disappointing film...

Today's Leisure Lab update includes our review of Vantage Point, a fast moving assassination thriller that features a gaggle of stars and more twists than a Blackjack tournament.

Sadly those twists, along with the ropey dialogue and leaden performances, mean that Vantage Point fails to live up to its exciting promise. Instead, it swiftly becomes unconvincing.

In its favour, the film cracks along at an entertaining pace, and the trick of telling the same story from several points of view is an interesting one to apply to an assasination attempt. You can't get bored watching Vantage Point, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll enjoy it.

Having watched this film the other night I gotta say, yes the dialogue could have been better but most everything else was fine.

I have to say though what 'twists' did you see ?

There were only slight differences from one person's take on the event to the next (hardly 'twists')

Anyway watch it on dvd as it IS pretty good for a 'one watch'.
