NEWS: OmniMount slims down its flatscreen brackets

Just in time for the new generation of ultraslim flat-panel TVs, OmniMount has launched a new range of three Ultra Low Profile Series brackets, which hold the TV just 38mm off the wall.

The new models come in three sizes, Medium, Large and Extra Large, able to accommodate screens from 26in all the way up to 75in. They can bear loads of up to 140kg, and have a novel built-in 'kickstand' to make hook-up changes a simple one-person operation.

The new ULPT models are finished in black, with extruded end-caps to cover the mounting hardware, and have OmniMount's 'Lift n Lock' for simple installation. They also offer easy lateral adjustment and use a universal mounting rail system for maximum compatibility.

The kickstand allows the bottom of the screen to be tilted out from the wall to reveal the connections on the rear of the TV and held in place, allowing changes to be made without the need for a helper to hold the TV while you plug and unplug cables.

Prices start at £170 for the ULPT-M model, and go up to £280 for the ULPT-X.
