I've had a 40" version of this model for a couple of months and am generally delighted with it.
Yes, there's slight evidence of the LED backlight during dark scenes, but it's not intrusive. HD pictures from Sky or DVD are superb (no Freeview HD yet) and the 100Hz Active Vision technology does a good job of masking motion blur.
I've not noticed any yellow cast to the picture - maybe a one-off for the TV being tested.
For me, the biggest issue with this TV is the weedy and directionless sound, which the bass/treble adjustment does little to improve. Not a patch on the 4 year old 32WLT66 this TV replaced. Having said that, there's no problem, of course, when the TV is hooked up to an AV amp and it wouldn't put me off buying it.
Incidentally, I paid less for the 40" version than What Hi-Fi quotes above for the 32", so there are bargains to be had.
