That new teufel THEATRE 200 looks great value at £820.Then even better(value) the THEATRE 100,£530. These look like quality,also nice recent design!I smell an upgrade...
These are 4-8 Ohm speakers, so be careful what you team them up with. Recent Denons for example are 6-8 Ohm. Denon quote re the AVR-1910:
"It definitely is not recommended that you run a 4 ohm speaker with your amp. Doing so would cause additional stress on the amplification circuits, overheating and at worst case potentially thermally induced protection mode to be triggered. "
Teufel also confirmed this (and to their credit have provided very good customer service in my few dealings with them so far).
You may have similar issues with Pioneer receivers, however I believe that Onkyo & Yamaha for example would be fine with 4-8 Ohm speakers.

A Good quality THX pioneer av amp/reciever will have zero problems firing these little babies.And i mean starting at LX-5X MODELS!
