Truly, truly horrible - sounds fizzy and screechy, like first-generation MiniDisc or consumer DAT when it briefly existed. I ordered one from Amazon and hated it so much I sent it back. If you like this general idea, buy the Elonex version at one-third of the price but with a sound quality that's actually suited to music rather than to repelling vermin.
