Bought this set last week and absolutely love it.
It's fed with the SKY HD source and the pictures are stunning. Admittedly this is my first jump into the flatscreen world. I was holding back changing out my Panny 32pxl0 CRT as I found the pictures on SD almost offensive. This Sony LCD finally won me over after weeks of in-store demos switching between SD and HD sources and various 'discussions' with staff. Thanks again to What Hi-fi for helping me with the shortlist.

I have also just sold my Toshiba 32WLT66 and i will be buying this model. I love to see a picture of the back of it though but there does not appear to be any pictures of the back of one online.
I saw this model in a shop and the picture quality was fabulous.

Everton Monkey - I also have a Tosh 32WLT66. Considering buying the Sony W4000 and wasn't sure about the glossy surround on it. Very reflective in store unlike previous Sony models! Your thoughts?
Seems that most manufacturers favour glossy surrounds!

Had this now for about 3 weeks and its a great set. Had a Tosh 32WLT66 before (which was and still is a good tv) and the picture is so much brighter, has better colours and blu-rays are stunning.
A big-screen plasma with big-name cachet, which performs superbly, for well under a grand. What else do you want?
