What a disappointment. Bought it for a very special birthday present for my husband.Read lots of reviews so did not expect it to be perfect - but in fact, the sound quailty is truly dreadful.If Sony are really going to move into the ipod speaker market then they seriously need to get their head around what an i-pod sounds like on headphones.We are all striving for that quality on open speakers and this is nowhere near it.Went for a Bowers and Wilkins i-pod speaker in the end, VERY good sound quality and the i-pod takes the strain of all the functions on the Sony that I would have used.
