The Sonos has been one of our favourite products for the last three years, and that hasn't changed with this new bundle

I bought the old bundle before Xmas &, despite one probelm with the controller, which Sonos changed - but with a £10 delivery charge Sad , i've been very impressed.  The free napster trial was great & the Xmas parties were a breeze with people adding their fav tracks to the 'queue' with relative ease.  Heck, even the wife can programme it & she admits to being a luddite!

We installed Sonos in a 3 storey solid Edwardian House and had trouble with the wireless reception on the third floor. Unfortunately we had used a 'Top End' HiFi consultancy who turned out to be a bunch of cowboys. At their suggestion we kept buying new hard drives paying hundreds for labour an dinstallation each time -but so far have been unable to use Sonos on our top floor without opening the doors and going out to stand in the landing.

In a minimal, wirelss house I find the chunky design of  the units praised here, to be a detractor not a positive. The chunky unit is used with an even  chunkier docking unit which can be wall mounted and then the wire chased into the wall - but still the technology to fit it onto a unit the size of a mobile phone or even tv remote control is readily available.

Of course we were stiffed by the shop who reccommended this so I admit that it could be a good option for an appartment or do it yourself installation but we didn't know that at the time. Next time we'll be going low end

Last month, I've installed 3X Sonos BU120's, with Monitor Audio SR6, Mordaunt Short MS914i, and Tannoy Mecury Custom 1 speakers, sourcing off a AVA RS3 NAS at home.  The whole setup is so simple, and the results are - just stunning music!  The sound is noticeably improving with run in, and the delight of ease and flexibility of the system - heavenly.

I can recommend this system to anyone who likes to fill the house with music.  The online help from Sonos, when required, is very comprehensive.
