Shure SE210

Noise-isolating is superlative, but music sounds similarly closed-in.

just purchased from newegg as they were discounted, and for the namebrand, thought it's reputation would continue to precede itself.  the selection of in-ear buds included with the purchase was varied and ample to gain a comfortable fit.

The outside noise isolating ability of the  210's are its main quality. listening to the kinks destroyer, treble was muddled, with the opening drum set not as revealing and clear as stock ipod headphones. bass was ample during the kaiser chiefs never miss a beat, but midrange left a bit to be desired. as for the se210's, i learned theres no such thing as a shure bet. now considering beyerdynamic's dtx 80 set.

Brilliant while they last!

Sound and noise isolation is excellent but at the moment I've just received my 3rd replacement pair in 18 months!

Customer service has been brilliant but maybe they should spend money on fixing the problems which have been exactly the same on all faulty pairs.

Had these for three days now and at last I can hear above the noise of my tractor!!

Personally I would give them 4 stars - they are not quite as comfortable as the seinhausers that my wife washed by accident but no complaints otherwise.
